Power of Attorney
Is it possible to extend the General Durable Power Attorney past the Principal's death. If so, how?

Thank you for your inquiry. The power of attorney expires upon the principal's death. There is not an exception to this. Only a Personal Representative ("Executor") can handle someone's affairs after they have died.

No, all powers of attorney cease to be effective upon the death of the principal.
