Power of Attroney
I have Power of Attorney for my mother. She is in the hospital and I will be gone on vacation. Can I assign my sister to temporary power of attorney while I'm away?

No. The power cannot be assigned by you. However, your mother can grant a power of attorney to your sister. It is not necessary to revoke yours before granting another POA.

No, the authority is not for you to give. Only the principal(your mother)can appoint an agent.
