a child is the ony daughter of a suicide victim, does she inherit the whole estate?

If there is a valid last Will, the Will controls who inherits the estate. If there is no Will, and no surviving spouse, then it would appear that the daughter would inherit under state law.

Yes, of course, she would inherit the whole estate, except what is precluded by suicide clauses (such as life insurance).

I agree with Donald Scher. If there is a will, the will controls who will inherit. If there is no will and there is a surviving spouse, the spouse will take everything, except that if there are other surviving children of the decedent from a prior marriage they will be entitled to a share. If there is no will, no spouse, and no other children, the sole surviving child will inherit the entire estate.
