Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona
Property sale
I am the personal representative to my father's estate and have found a buyer for his house. Do I have to get permission from siblings to proceed with sale?

Re: Property sale
No, you do not have to get permission from anybody. It is your job to dispose of the testator's estate to the best advantage of the estate.

Re: Property sale
You are not the personal representative of your father's estate until the probate court appoints you and Letters of Administration are issued. Right now, you do not have legal authority to sell the house. You may need court approval for the sale of the house. Notice to the other heirs and those interested in the estate is important to give.
