Rights of beneficiaries of a trust
Do the beneficiaries of a trust have a right to receive statements or similar documentation as to the amount of the trust and details as to what the bank/trustee has been doing with that money over the past 7 months since the death?

The beneficiaries have the right to at least an annual statement from the Trustee, or sooner if the terms of the trust so provide. A Trustee may be required to account to a Court if s/he does not provide the required accountings to the beneficiaries.
