Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona
my sister lied to mom
I have a sister who was not the excutor of my moms will.
before my dad died they made my younger sis the executor.
Since my older sis didnt like this idea she told my mom that she needs to quit deed the house to her so she is not stuck with property taxes. Which if my mom wasn't so afraid we could have to her she was exempt from them , but my sister would never tell her that since she wanted control.
Anyway mom did that and she talked my mom into selling the house which was totally paid for. She suceeded so, she has been spending my moms money like it going out of style. and she also, when they sold the house since it was in my sisters name had another trust wrote say my mom is the beneficiary of the trust. MY sister knows well that my mom would not last long . As, I am writing this she is dying my mom..... Is there anything I can do to stop this....I have proof of how she used my moms money for her benefit and her boyfriends...I also have the original trust...

Re: my sister lied to mom
yes, you can file an action in the Probate Division of the Superior Court in the County where your Mom lives, for financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult. You can also file a criminal complaint with the police agency with jurisdiction where your Mom lives under the elder abuse statutes and for fraud.
