Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona
Small Estate Affadavit in ARIZONA
my husband passed away leaving some stock to me as beneficiary; but I'm told I need a Small Estate Affadavit to have these released to me. Can I obtain a form and do this myself or must I pay for an attorney? I live in ARIZONA.

You can download the form from the Maricopa County Probate court website, or you can get the form from the law library at the courthouse.

You can only use this if he deceased more than 30 days ago, and the total value of all his non-real estate property is less than $50,000.
