A new POA properly made and executed, will supercede a previous POA.
There is no POA in a trust agreement. The trust agreement describes the powers given to the Trustee to act for and administer the trust business.
You should confer with an attorney to examine the documentation that you have and to learn what rights, duties and obligations that the trustee has and that the agent under the power of attorney has.
