trust

if myself and sister are listed as beneficiaries, are we entitled to funds after a trust has been closed?

grandmother was given grandfathers trust after his death, & 2 weeks after that my father was killed. are my sister and i entitled to my fathers share? do we need to take action against my grandmother to recieve my fathers share?

You may well be entitled to benefits, but it cannot be known without a complete review of your grandfather's will and trust, and perhaps an examination of other facts. The wording is crucial in these documents.
