Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

My wife and I want to set up a trust account. We're not sure how to get started. Our goal is to have our assets protected. Advice appreciated.

I don't think that you meant to say that you wanted to set up a "trust account," but that you want to create a "Trust." A Trust is a separate legal entity in the eyes of the law, just like a corporation is a separate legal person. However, a Trust does not necessarily provide "asset protection" or insulate you from creditor claims. That kind of asset protection requires the application of several techniques and how that is done depends upon your assets, goals and circumstances.

I can assure you that you should get proper legal advice so that you have a clear understanding of what you are trying to accomplish and how best to do it and what is required to achieve your goals. This is not something that you can get for free or for $29.95 on the internet. I could meet with you for the limited purpose of educating you, analyzing the facts and circumstances and then recommending the strategies available to you. I charge a fixed fee for this conference alone, and you are not obligated for anything further.
