if there is no will

If there is no will Am I entitled to my moms money even if my sister is a signer on her account?? My sister said she doesnt have to give anything.

Looks like Mom wanted sis to get the dough, so put it in her name.

"Name on the account" can mean several things:

1. Joint account, sis is a joint owner. She gets it all.

2. P.O.D. to sis. She gets it all.

3. Sis is signer only. She gets share from estate, not account automatically.

4. Sis is P.O.A. on account. Same share as #3 above.

5. Sis is trustee. Trust owns account.
