Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona
will
My mother bought her home before she remarried. I am her daughter and I have rented her home for 4 years. She wants to leave the home to me if she dies. Should I quick claim it or do a written will?

Re: will
A beneficiary deed would indeed work. Of course, your mother should have a complete plan, even for a small estate, so that other issues could be resolved in the event of her incapacity or death, not just a beneficiary deed. What about a power of attorney for finances or health care? You do not want to have disputes between yourself and her husband. We offer free initial consultations.

Re: will
I recommend that your mother prepare and sign a beneficiary deed, that will convey the property to you upon her death.
