Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

Will and Testament

My grandmother passed away without a reading of her will. No one will tell me who her attorney is so I can get one scheduled. My father and his sister have fought tooth and nail over every aspect of my grandmother's will, and pretty much lost the property she stated should be sold with the proceeds being split up among her children and grandchildren. No one knows what else is in the will as neither my father or Aunt will allow anyone to read it.

Re: Will and Testament

You are entitled to see a copy of the will if you are named as a beneficiary. If your father and aunt refuse to let you see the will, an attorney might be able to help. Further, depending on the kind of assets your grandmother had, and the way she held title, the will may have to be submitted to the court and a personal representative may need to be appointed in order to transfer the assets to the rightful owner.
