Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona
Wills & Probate
My domestic partner of 11 years died a few months ago. He was a disabled Vet and was on a disability pension. Last year, prior to his death, I got a new car. Because he was home during the day, and it was more convenient for him to go to motor vehicle, we had the car registered in his name. Now that he has passed away, how can I get the car in my name. There was no will stating that the car was to go to me. Help!

Re: Wills & Probate
If you have proof that you paid for the car, you would have to make a claim against the decedent's estate.
