I'm on workmans comp,waiting for surgery.My Company say I have to go on Cobra is this right

You question is technically one for the labor and employment lawyers, but since you asked...

In Arizona an injured worker is not protected from being let go while off work due to his/her injury. COBRA is a federal law that requires that your employer's health insurer offer you the option of paying full premiums to continue your health coverage after you are terminated. Thus, you do not "go on" Cobra. Apparently you've been terminated, and you now have the option of paying for COBRA benefits.
