Cash Settlement From Insurance Company
What would be a fair cash settlement from a neck and upper back injury as a result of a rear-end collision on the job ?

In Arizona, an injury like yours does not automatically earn a permanent disability award, no matter how serious it is. Your injury will be evaluated for its impact on your earning ability. That will be determined by a) doctors' opinions of your ability to function, b) your background, experience and education, and c) the labor market in which you live and/or were injured.
Settlements in Arizona are voluntary--you can't go to court to get one, and neither can the insurance company. If you can work out a settlement with them, great. If not, your only alternative is to get the highest-possible monthly award.
