Please file a workers compensation claim immediately. You need to file this so as to protect yourself, especially if the chemicals were so bad as to cause you loss of time from work. You would be compensated through workers comp if you lose more than 7 days of work due to the chemical exposure and doctor's advise. Either way...I highly suggest that you see an attorney to file a claim immediately so you are protected. Chemical exposure is extremely dangerous and there is an entire section of workers compensation law dedicated to such exposure. You need to file a claim to protect yourself from any further complications that may arise from the exposure. This way..you have documented the effect and medical issues right away. Please feel free to call if you have any further questions.
