When the legislature passed the statute making workers' compensation fraud a felony, a client of mine was one of the first five "examples" the Attorney General's office prosecuted. I had no idea he was committing fraud, but they caught him red-handed. He went to prison. I hope you're curiosity is purely academic, for your sake.
