Even though you didn't actually ask a question, I'm guessing you want to know if you have a chance to overcome the carrier's position. The answer is...MAYBE! I wish I could be more specific, but cases like yours hinge on the facts found in medical records.

You need to watch for a document from the carrier called a Notice of Claim Status, which will deny your claim or limit coverage in some way. You need to protest that notice by sending your Request for Hearing to the Industrial Commission (NOT the workers' comp carrier). Instructions for protesting are at the bottom of the notice.
