There was insuffuicient evidence to send case to Jury even Jury had problems with it and sent questions about the evidence ''is there a file they could look at to see evidence?''.I did though enter a Motion for Dismissal prior to and during trial. What cases are there to SUIPPORT ''did not have KNOWLEDGE that I should have ask for a Directed Verdict?

Re: Appeal when Motion for Direct Verdict not raised

Are you an attorney, or were you representing yourself pro se?

What grounds did you use to ask for a dismissal? If they were the same or similar to what the grounds for the Motion for Directed Verdict would have been, you may have actually asked for that, only with a different name.

I'm not sure what case you are asking for? What kind of cases are you trying to find?

Also, have you filed for an appeal? Generally, you only have 30 days (less in some courts) to file for an appeal.
