arrested due to a bank error on check

I was arrested for a stop payment on a check as well as my boyfriend, due to the fact the check was written to pay a his fine. The bank stopped payment on the wrong check and has admitted to error. Are there any claims I can file against them. I have a letter stating from the bank mngr that it was their error but we still have court, court costs, bonds, etc.

You may be able to get them to pay any expenses that were directly caused by their mistake since you have their admission that it was their mistake.

You may need to file a claim against them or they may help out willingly. I need more details to be sure what all you can expect to recover for their mistake.
