Mobile Home Lien Perfection
What is necessary to perfect a security interest in a manufactured home with real estate? Does the real estate mortgage perfect the lien on the manufactured home or must we also file a UCC financing statement in order to perfect the lien as a fixture filing?

You need to file the lien on the mobile home. The real estate mortgage is not sufficient for a mobile home.

Filing both should perfect your interest and cover all your bases.
