Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Arkansas
How long does it take to get a confirmation?
Could some one tell me how many times a case can be continued so the debator can find another reason not to pay his debts. That are non discharable? But can continue to buy new furniture take trips take in grandchildren that by law are not his. Yet he owes his legal children alot of back support. This was filed in 2001 and was ruled that the back support was non dischargable. and i do belive is considered a priority . By all legal research That has been done. Is there a time limit as to when i can appeal to the supreme court for a ruling? Thank You

You have some interesting questions. Anything is possible and so without knowing the full details of the case I cannot advise you properly. I assume it is an AR bankruptcy. If you can give me a case # or names, I can look at it and see what is going on. I will say that if your allegations are true, you need an Attorney working on it instead of you just sitting back being upset about it.
Contact me if I may be of service to you.

If a debt is nondischargeable then it is still owed no matter if the debtor has filed bankruptcy. It is unusual for a case from 2001 to not be determined. If I had some more detatils I could look up the case on the bankruptcy court's webpage (assuming it is in AR). If you live near a bankruptcy court, you could go in and look up the case to see what is going on. Bankruptcy cases are open to the public. There are limits on the time you have to appeal any ruling but it would depend on when the case was filed and finalized.
