what is reaffirmation and how does if affect a filed bankruptcy

A "reaff" is when you have something that has a loan against it that you want to keep in a chapter 7. You agree to be responsible for the debt and it is then as if it was never included in the bcy. You keep making payments just as if you never filed the bcy.
