Legal Question in Business Law in Arkansas
Buy Back Law
I am a manufacturer of farm implements. I put the implements on dealers lots on consignment. One dealer pays whether it is sold or not. The dealer sold to another company and they want me to buy the implements back under a buy back law. Do I have to buy them back?

Re: Buy Back Law
Do you have a written contract with the business? What was your agreement/dealings with prior owner? Is new owner wanting you to buy them back because bad product, doesn't sell anymore, or why?
I would be glad to try to answer your question, but need more information. You are welcome to call me or email me directly for more help.
