It depends some on what type of business and what type of partnership you had. If there was any apparent partnership, you need to send a letter of notice to anyone who has extended a line of credit to the partnership. You may need to put a notice of termination in local papers. If you have any ongoing business, you need to go into a winding down phase. During this phase, you take care of ongoing business, debts, credits, orders, etc. But you do not take on any new business. There may be other actions you need to take. Need more info. on business.
