Legal Question in Business Law in Arkansas
Ex-employee sabotage
A man was hired to build my company a web-site. Several months after completion he was let go for spending my money without permission. At the time of his termination he shut down my web-site.
Two months later he started a company of his own with an identical site, and has now become my direct competitor.
As of the time I'm typing this question I still can't get my site back online. What if any legal options do I have in this situation?

Re: Ex-employee sabotage
Did you have a contract or any type formal agreement with the website builder?
If you paid him for the work, and your website isn't working, you need to ask for a refund, or for him to fix your website. As far as competing, it may depend on what the contract says, as to who the artwork, design, etc. belong to.
