Legal Question in Business Law in Arkansas
LLC and fictitious names
I currently own a self-defense school that teaches one particular system. It is a sole proprietorship. I want to convert to an LLC. I am also looking to do another system. However, this system requires I use their name, their equipment, etc. I want to preserve what I have with the old school and still do the new one. Can I create an LLC and use 2 different fictitious names that can maintain separate licensing agreements and not allow the obligations of the new contract (use of logo, training, etc.) to affect my desire to maintain the old logo, name, curriculum, etc.?
