Legal Question in Business Law in Arkansas
Selling Items
I am trying to start at fishing lodge for cancer survivers, and I was wondering if it is against the law to sell cancer ribbons to raise the money for the lodge? All the cancer survivers will stay for free with there familys, and no profit would be made from the sales. So my question is, is it against the law to sell cancer ribbons to raise the money for the lodge? Also is I wanted to raise money by doing a walk, is that leagl?

Re: Selling Items
Is your lodge/business venture registered as a 501(3)(c) non-profit? You may want to look at how your company is situated. A non-profit can raise money to fund its charity or business. I am not actually sure of the answer to your question, if you are not a registered non-profit organization.
