slander&lies from another company

I have a competitor who tells anyone who calls and mentions my company is told that i use junk materials and do terrible work. i do work for the best in the business& now they are coming to me to have a stop put to it.

i do glass work for body shops mainly rarly do general public.so my work and reputation reflects on them also

what can i do?

You could have an attorney draw up a Cease and Desist letter, politely asking them to stop what they are doing.

You would have a case for libel/slander only if what they are saying isn't true and is causing harm to you or your business.
