Legal Question in Business Law in Arkansas
If I submitted an application for employement with a company, and then find out that the application was not kept confidential and an employee who thought I was attractive called me from a home #, with nothing to do with the company, to see if we could meet up, is this illegal on the companies stand point? The employee did divulge to me he got my telephone number from the application.

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the employee overstepped his employment duties. Whether you would have a legal action (and damages) against his employer is quite another issue. Did your employment application say all information would be kept confidential? If you feel affronted, the best course is to contact the employer and speak with management. I'm sure they will have a "talk" with the employee. He'll probably say he couldn't help himself. Beauty is often overwhelming, and drives us to do things we would not otherwise. But it's no excuse for what he did. Best of luck.
