Legal Question in Business Law in Arkansas
Vending machine/business ethics
I am the owner of a vending business. Coca cola recently came into an apartment complex and literally moved my machine outside. Unhooked and left outside to place their machine in its place. I was asked for the machine to be moved and I gave management a date, we agreed on 2 weeks. This was Monday of this week. Have my rights been viloated in any way?? Does coca cola have the right to move my machine?? Thank you.

Re: Vending machine/business ethics
Did you have a contract to maintain the vending machine on the premises? Was it exclusive?
If not, it doesn't appear that you have a claim. Just because Coca Cola moved the machine at the direction of the property owner... probably wouldn't give you a cause of action against the company.
Keep in mind that many cases are fact dependent. You should consult with an attorney in order to received qualified advice regarding your fact situation.
Good luck.
