Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Arkansas
search warrant, do they have to have one with them?
On the morn. of oct 29, the DEA and local law officers, exacuted a no knock entry search warrant, at my house, they had a search warrant for a deer cabin that is located about 1/4 of a mile from our house. they said they ''forgot'' the warrant for the house, they begin searching anyway. my question is don't i have to see the warrant or give permission to search my home?? there was nothing at the deer cabin. the search warrant for the house came about 2 hours later. i would very much appreciate an answer. thank you

Any evidence gathered during an illegal search could most likely be suppressed.
