Selling merchandise to a minor
Is there a civil law against selling used cars to a minor without an adult's signature?

A contract with a minor alone is voidable. The minor may rescind and disavow the contract, in writing, to the other party. He may then not be held to the terms of the agreement, but must forfeit any benefit he received from it. He cannot disavow the contract and retain the benefits.
