TV Gift
My live-in girlfriend bought me a prjection tv for christmas. I later had problems with her cheating on me so I kicked her out. She's still making payments on the tv and wants it back. Is it with-in my right to keep the tv since it was a gift?

Maybe, she bought the TV for BOTH of you, since you were living together. People do that all the time under the guise of being a gift for one person or the other. It's not like you were the only one watching it. It's not like Mom's are the only ones who get the benefit of the blender on Mother's Day.
Since she can stop paying on it, it's a pretty expensive item, chances are she can take you to small claims for at least 1/2 the value of the TV.
Why not try going to mediation and figuring out how much of the TV you should pay for. She obviously bought it on credit and that credit had to do with her commitment to being with the TV/you when she made that final payment.
