does my child have the right to wear a tounge ring in a public school

My 13 year old daughter got her tounge peirced. The band director at the school insisted she take it out. She refused. After this she was sent to the office and put into Inschool suspension for not taking it out. She made the decision to not be in band and now she will recieve an F on her transcript.. She has always been a straight A student. can you help me. I feel this violates her rights.

Was the ring causing some type of problem? Is there a school rule against tongue rings? Does your daughter go to public or private school? Your daughter's rights Possibly have been violated. There are a lot more questions to ask to say for sure. I would be glad to give you a free consultation.
