Pamphlets supporting sales tax

Is it legal to use city funds to print a pamphlet to support an election issue?

There are pamphlets being passed out in my city supporting a 1 cent sales tax.

Three of the four organizations listed on the pamphlets are part of the city government.

The pamphlet carries the city government logo.

The pamphlet lists the city website, city improvement projects from the past, and future projects planned.

Contact local counsel.

It might be legal, -- depends upon the local regulations. Chances are they've run it past the city attorney, and you can find out what the advice was from that office.
