Overcharging
I signed a fax contract for a 24X30 finished concrete slab with 1 foot footers, 4 inch thick for a set price. Now they want to charge me extra for concrete($1200.00) for digging the footers and for finishing the concrete. I did not aske for anything more than a 24X30 slab finished. They say the are going to put a lean on my house. What should I do?

Did they do any more work than the contract called for? If so, did they ask you about it before doing it?

I would have to look at the contract before giving you any kind of a definite answer.
