Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arkansas
Can a credit card company attach or seize Social Security benefits from a bank account for a debt incurred by a deceased spouse? The wife's name was a signator on the card, however, he used it to pay some hospital charges before he passed away. She has not used the card since then. She is 70 years old and her Social Security is all the income she has.

Convert to paper check and they won't be able to garnish.
