Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Arkansas
credit card debt for 70 year old.
My mother is 70 years old and has acumulated around $60,000 in credit card debt. Her interest rates are high. I am worried that when she dies, this debt will take everything in her estate and more. I feel like the credit card companies should not give someone her age that much for credit lines. Because this is an unsecured debt, how much are her relatives responsible for.

Re: credit card debt for 70 year old.
Her relatives are not responsible for her debts. The credit card company will have to look to her estate to satisfy the debt.
