Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arkansas
13 yr old son
My son is visiting his father in Arkansas. He ''touched'' his half sister inappropriately. His step mother has called authorities and I am being told by his father that he will be arrested, taken to juvenile, video taped confession and lie detector. What rights do I have? I reside in Houston, TX. Do I fly there and obtain an attorney for him? Can he and his father refuse to say anything when they question them about the incident?

No one needs to make any statements to the police ESPECIALLY your son. He needs a lawyer, today.
