Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arkansas
Do I have the right to get court records myself?
I'm being charged with a felony in which my attorney have not been consistently communicating with me about. My trial has been delayed several times and they say it's the prosecution but the reasons for delay are getting very far-fetched and I simply don't trust my attorney anymore.
Do I have the right to contact anyone at the county offices to get the official records of why the trial has been delayed and maybe any other information from the court like all motions filed , etc?

Yes, you can go to the court house and copy your complete file. You just need your case number.
I would also suggest a visit down to your attorney's office to discuss the matter with him directly. Good luck.
