Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arkansas
criminal mischief in the 1st
What is the worst case scenario for a punishment for someone without a record for a criminal mischief in the 1st? I tried to get help but I heard it was not worth getting a lawyer.

It actually depends on which Court you are in, and how much damage is done. If the damage is over $500.00 then it is a class C felony and you will be looking at 3-10 years in the penetentiary and a $10K fine. If under $500, it is a class A misdomeanor which could net you a year in jail and a $1K fine. Perhaps that is nothing to worry about and perhaps not ... your call!
