Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arkansas
felon in posetion of a fire arm
My son is about to complete a 120 day sentence on felony charges after a plea bargin. His wife and he are going to stay with my wife and I for a while after they get out, I own several firearms which are locked in a gun safe. can he be charged for this?

Just because you have firearms in your home, he cannot be charged with possession.
However, I would recommend that you keep the firearms locked in the safe while he is present in the home. This eliminates any possibility of questions arising as to his possession of the firearms.
