Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arkansas
Felony, Epunged-- 1st Time Offender
If convicted of a Class C Felony, and it is expunged, for 1st time offense,is it still on your record as a felony? I was told that it is like it never happened. Is this so?

Expungements are state-specific and I do not practice in Arkansas.
That said, the usual effect of expungement is to make it as if the
charge/conviction had never occurred.
