Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arkansas
leagal advice
my daugther worked for a day care and the teacher was charged with something dont know the charge butr my daugther gave her statement to the police and now the proscuting attorney wants her to come in and talk to him my question is should she go ?

The DA will often want to meet with witnesses on a case. She's under no obligation to go, but as a witness, if she wants to cooperate, she is welcome to. If there is ANY question about criminal liability on her part (including any potential violation of the mandatory reporting laws), she should speak with an attorney before agreeing to any questioning by the police or DA.
