Posted Bail want money back
My uncle was stopped for drunk driving after driving for several hours, he was not drunk. I posted bail for him. We went to court, and the court would not give back the bail money. Is this legal? If not... what can I do? Thank you in advance...

When does the bail money get returned
As a general rule, bail money is refundable when all court appearances have been made. An earlier release of the bail may be possible depending on state law and the judge. I cannot speak specifically to the statutes in your state as I am not licensed there. Good Luck!
