Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arkansas
Search warrant charges
A search warrant was executed at a friends house while I was there in the house. My boyfriend, who was still in truck and on parole, had drugs and was arrested. He signed some paper saying the drugs were his but they charged me also. Do they have to drop the charges against me?

Re: Search warrant charges
In general, No. You did not state what you were actually charged with, so it is impossible to answer the question fully.
However, if they charged you with possession, it seems that the state would have a tough/terrible case against you. It would probably lead to dismissing the charges, but they may push it.
You should seek the services of a qualified attorney to review the facts of your case and to give additional advice.
