Sex Offense - Internet Stalking

My brother was online chatting and began to chat with a person pretending to be a 15 year old with problems and issues. During the next week she called him and they began a phone relationship. At some point she asked for him to come visit her in Arkansas, my brother lives in Missouri. He drove to visit her and walked into a sting operation. I have put up my house as bond for him and now we need to learn how to find the best lawyer for this situation.

Even though your brother lives in Missouri, he needs to hire the best criminal defense attorney he can afford in the Arkansas county where the charge is pending. If you do not know where to start, I would try findlaw.com or some other directory type service. You might see if there is a bar association in the Arkansas county and contact that bar association. As a last resort, you could contact the local court clerk to see if they can give you the contact info for some criminal defense attorneys in the area.
