Legal Question in Education Law in Arkansas
financial aid
my school offered me financial aid for the summer and now they have taken it back after the award letter was sighned and half of the money was given to me. they want me to pay the other half back. they say my class was not covered after i finished my class with a 4.0. Is this legal?????

From the facts that you have provided, you are owed the rest of the money. You relied on the promise of funding by enrolling in and completing the course. Your altered your life/position based on their promise. They cannot withdraw the offer when you are in the midst of the course. Either file your own small claims action, or get a local lawyer to do this. Good luck.
